SUBJECT(S) CRITICAL REASONING (CRITICAL PUZZLEL & CREATIVE WRITING)
DESCRIPTION To solve a problem you will have to think critically and creatively from different angles.

  • Visualize the problem first. Think in opposites.
  • Apply the right approach. Elicit Solutions.
  • Draw inferences. Arrive at the result
  • You internalize critical thinking skills and you will be able to respond to all life’s situations and arrive at solutions.
OBJECTIVE
  • To encourage students to experiment, evaluate and analyze problems.
  • Developing English Language skills.
  • Express one self with clarity, brevity, logically, grammatically and with style.
  • Encourage ability to appreciate graphic representation of data and its interpretation.
  • Motivate in writing – resumes, letters, invitations, critical appreciation of poetry, book – reviews, minutes of meetings, articles and stories for school magazines.

ASSESSMENT PARAMETERS Critique of the Argument, Evaluation Arguments. Visualization, Interpretation, Inference.
FEE A participation fee of Rs.150/- per student per TEST is to be collected by the school. The school shall retain Rs.15/- for D.D. commissions, postal expenses, incidental expenditures like photo-copying, etc and Rs.10/- towards the honorarium of the school coordinator. -Nil-
CUT-OFF MARKS Cutoff marks will be based on the students' highest marks scored per class for the Prelims Level test. Students scoring above cut-off marks in the Prelims Level will get promoted to the FINALS. Students who score above cut-off marks in the Final Level test will be declared as a winners.
AWARDS All the participants will receive Certificate of Participation and Marks Memo. Students who score above cut-off marks will award the APPRECIATION medal. The winners will receive Certificate of Merit, Medals and Mementos.

1st Place : GOLD MEDAL
2nd Place : SILVER MEDAL
3rd Place : BRONZE MEDAL
